Sharyn Tejani is the Director of the TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund at the National Women's Law Center. This presentation will cover how the TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund came about and the services it offers including connections to attorneys, funding cases, and funding media assistance. Since it started in January 2018, the Fund has received over 4,000 requests for assistance. The presentation will cover the legal trends the Center is seeing in the requests for assistance and the types of that are being funded. Finally, the presentation will discuss how attorneys can help people coming forward and apply for funding for their cases.
