Eric Maxfield, a founding partner of Maxfield Gunning, LLP., will be speaking at our July Brown Bag. Eric is an experienced employment attorney who recently rejoined PELA after working for the Colorado Attorney General for several years. Eric will speak on issues related to an individual's professional license, including the complaint process and how such complaints against an employee's professional license can impact their employment law claims. He will also discuss the negative collateral consequences to license discipline that may help shape the strategy for the employment and professional licensing issues. This topic will be extremely helpful for our members who represent employee's with professional licenses such as physicians, dentists, nurses, physical therapists, plumbers, and electricians, experiencing issues within the workplace that may also have adverse effects on their license.
