Join your PELA colleagues for a presentation by Paul Maxon and Sarah Parady on January 8 at noon at 2701 Lawrence St.

Paul and Sarah will discuss Defendant’s untimely motion to dismiss based on alleged failure to exhaust some claims; voir dire and jury instruction strategy; use of Reptile and Rules of the Road techniques in opening, closing, and throughout the trial; Judge Blackburn’s evidentiary practices and jury instruction procedures; and, of course, the cautionary ethics tale of how the defense paralegal and corporate representative were separately held in (or referred for) criminal contempt. Paul and Sarah will review Colo. RPC 3.3 and its ethical restrictions on communications with jurors.

Applied for 1 CLE Credit. Please register in advance in order to receive materials electronically before the presentation.
