Registration

  • Limited to current NELA or CTLA members who are not PELA members and do not regularly represent corporations or government entities in employment law cases, but remember, PELA membership for a first time member is only $75 so becoming a member if you're eligible will save you money.
  • Limited to paralegals and staff of current PELA members
  • If you cannot attend the Retreat, you can still purchase the materials.
  • Must be a PELA Student Member

The PELA Retreat is on August 24 and 25 at the Pines at Genesee. Registration is open!

We have a great lineup this year. 

In addition to new faces from out of state, Walt Auvil (the Lebron James of 30(b)(6) depositions), David Ball (Reptile/Damages), and Carl Douglas (he did half of OJ's closing argument), all of your favorites are back! Paula Greisen on Opening Statements! Arash Jahanian and Laura Wolf on Religion in the Workplace! John Culver on Workplace Privacy Rights! Joan Bechtold on recent significant cases and legislation! And many more! Full scheduled below.

We expect to apply for about 15 CLE credits, including 4 ethics credits.

$100 - PELA members (First Time Attendee Rate)

$150 - PELA members (Normal Rate)

$200 - Non-PELA NELA and CTLA members who do not regularly defend employers in employment cases
